Kindergarten & Private Elementary (K-5th) with a GIFTED STUDENT program Our major goal for kindergarten is to prepare the complete child for first grade. The kindergarten program includes mathematics, language arts, science, social studies, computers, physical education, and an opportunity for the child to begin first grade reading. Our curriculum provides a flexible schedule with the balance of play and work activities. Also included in our program are sessions in French, music and gymnastics. Our elementary school provides reading, math, science, social studies, geography, multicultural art education e.g. diversity, arts, movement through music and computers. Our students scored high consistently on nationally recognized tests, due to our exceptional programs and small groups with individual attention. Elementary school offers a care-free environment for the children with working mothers. The child receives under the same roof: breakfast, lunch, a snack, an exceptional education program, extra classes, homework done and even field trips. Programs "Le Chaperon Rouge" provides seven different programs: Day Care, Preschool, Before & After School Care, Summer Programs, Kindergarten, Private Elementary and Infant Care. The children are separated by age and aptitudes. The programs include sharing experiences to gain ability in language, games to develop group participation, a structured reading and math program to introduce children to the symbols of written language, art, dancing, music, creative indoor and outdoor play, and special field trips. We start preparation for Kindergarten at 18 months. Through play, we expose all children to letters, numbers, shapes, colors, science, social studies, geography, arts and phonics for older pre-schoolers. Testing Classes
are small to enable instructors to give individual attention. In order
to check the progress of students in the pre-kindergarten and
kindergarten classes, a cultural program of testing is used in addition
to achievement and social tests. They are tested in the following areas:
Report cards are handed out every 3 months to show child's progress. Objectives
