We value our teachers and other staff members as our company's most precious commodity. At Le Chaperon Rouge, we have a positive work environment for all employees. We recognize that any corporation is only as good as the people that carry through its daily objectives.

“Happy teachers equal happy students. This is what our company strives for.” – Mrs. Stella Moga-Kennedy

Each potential staff member undergoes a significant interview process. He/she must have previous experience working with children, and have either obtained an early childhood degree or working towards one. The applicant then goes through a series of interviews with members of management to ensure that he/she is a good fit for our company. Finally, the applicant must undergo a background check and fingerprinting, a medical exam, pre-employment drug testing, and previous employment reference checks.

On-the-job Training:

New staff members go through an extensive training process upon hire. Each new staff member is trained on state licensing standards, our company's standards, our curriculum, our classroom management philosophy, and our policies through both management and peer counseling. Each new staff member is assigned a senior staff member that will act as a mentor for the next year. Continuing Education (see below) is offered to each new employee immediately.

Quality Assurance Inspections:

Le Chaperon Rouge is locally owner run and operated, meaning extra attention to quality on a daily basis. Each school's daily operations are overseen by a site director and assistant director. In addition, a regional manager and the owner visit the schools on a daily basis to ensure that every item on our checklist- from cleanliness to curriculum- is being done professionally and perfectly!

Pride of Work:

Every single staff member of Le Chaperon Rouge, from the infant caregivers to elementary school teachers to the on-site cooks, is employed at Le Chaperon Rouge to make a difference in a child's life on a daily basis. Our staff realizes that we are entrusted with your most precious commodity- your children- and take great pride in caring for them just as their parents would at home- with patience, love, and respect. Every day is a new opportunity to enhance a child's life.

Continuing Education:

Le Chaperon Rouge provides continuing education to staff free of charge throughout the year. Classes are taught by specialized professionals in their field. Every staff member receives current CPR, First Aid, Communicable Disease, and Child Abuse Recognition Training. In addition, classes are offered on the following topics: child health, safety, curriculum, physical fitness, social skills, guidance, classroom management, professionalism, working with families, learning environments, and creativity.

We have loved all of the teachers for different reasons. They are all special and are like an extended family.-Ray & Amy Cebulis
